With the GREEN HORNET out, it's pretty bad. It's one thing to throw out Britt Reid's superhero pedigree (his father, the Lone Ranger's nephew, occasionally helped out his uncle), but to make him a buffoon; well, why not create a new character instead of ruining an old one. But still, it does not win the prize as worst superhero movie of all time; that should go to DOC SAVAGE, a low budget clunker that decided to take everything good about the Doc Savage series and throw it out, and take everything bad about it and magnify it.
So, what is the best, worst and oddest superhero movie you can think of? _________________ Bart Lidofsky |

| When I think of worst, Captain America always comes too quickly to mind. I remember watch the Doc Savage movie on TV and thinking how stupid some of the events were, and I think I was only 15. TOM |

The '80s version of the Lone Ranger was hands down the worst of all. It was so bad (and from what I hear, the star so drunk) that James Keach had to be brought in to re-dub all of the Ranger's dialog. _________________ Email or PM me with technical issues. |

I saw that movie, in the theaters, right about the time it was about to be pulled. There was a small audience, all of whom knew exactly what to expect. Based on what we spontaneously yelled at the screen, it could have become a ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW-like experience.... _________________ Bart Lidofsky |
